From Roy Targonski:Tempete for sale at Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green Airport

I am selling my AEROBATIC Jurca Tempete as I am going microlight.( MiniMax G-MYKZ recently aquired ) – @ £10,000.00 o.n.o. I may consider a part exchange on a permit two seater.

WILL BE SOLD WITH A NEW / FULL PERMIT ! !

The price reflects the downturn in value of light aircraft in the U.K. and as my MiniMax is almost ready to fly , I cannot support two aircraft !

Included in the sale is the waterproof fuselage cover. Covers the engine , cockpit and to just short of the tail.

The MJ-2 is a classic aerobatic ,low wing, single seat, tailwheel, wood and fabric aircraft of immense strength, with a very large and roomy cockpit, easily accomodates someone over 6 foot tall, with a bubble `P51D Mustang `type canopy – ideal unobstructed 360* degree view for aerobatics.
Rolls-Royce 0-200 with Mculley aluminium prop

This is one of only two airworthy Tempetes in the U.K. so far as I am aware , so has significant historical and raretiy value and is one of the best designs for homebuilt aerobatic aeroplanes.

The aircraft has a ` G ` meter and no aerobatic `fatigue hour ` limitations. Very good condition inside and out. The airframe hours are 893 and engine hours 556 , as at 30/01/2010 – increasing as aircraft is used regularly.ICOM A-200 radio and carb ice warning included as will be many essential maintenance tools and stands etc., it is a really simple (basic design and systems – none electric) and a very strong aircraft.

Safety absorbing seat cushion covered in leather, four point harness ,additional aerial for standby set , chromed tailwheel from a `Maule ` – centre locking and full 360 * castor / swivel , engine driven fuel pump , limited panel with vacumn driven `turn and slip` and seperate slip ,C.H.T. gauge and the usual engine instruments. Quadrant throttle and mixture lever (gated) much better than verniers , with elbow rest – very comfortable during positive `G` manouvers.Accurate mechanical fuel contents gauge. Front and rear (ferry) fuel tanks – approx 18 imp.galls total useable – approx 3.5 hrs, duration ( 2 hrs on front tank plus reserve). Cleared to run on Mogas – runs well and likes both .

The aircraft has always been hangared , now resident at EGBO – Wolverhampton’s very friendly ‘Halfpenny Green’ Airport.

Note: This aircraft requires a ‘reasonably experienced’ tailwheel pilot.

Please e-mail me for further information.

I am open to offers . It is more important to me that G-ASUS goes to a good home , the price is secondary.
